Grey kids want end to war Continued from page 22 Christmas. Jodi Semple Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My Christmas wish for the world is that all the poor people would have a good, warm, place to live. I wish that people would donate money to buy some nice clothes, some good food, and get them some nice clean water to drink. I wish there would be no more wars, because it kills little kids and adults. That's my Christmas wish for the world. Crystal Ahrens Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that we all could be friends with each other. Then we could work with each other better. We could play with each other. We would treat each other fairly. Fighting would stop. People would stop being mad at each other. Friends would be nice to you. Sara Speiran Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world would be that everybody would stop pollution because if they don't, then a couple years from now we won't even be able to go outside without thinking that we might get sick and maybe even die. We would not be able to drink the water because it would have chemicals in it. The animals would die because they would get sick. The fish would die because they wouldn't be able to breath. Ways to prevent pollution would be to get people working in factories to be a little more careful and also use the 3 R's - recycle, reduce, reuse. Do not pollute please! Amanda Cummings Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everybody would go to college and get the best education they can get. They can get a good job and feed their kids. They will also have lots of money. Kenneth Brown Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is to have peace on earth. No one would be in more fights over the peace agreement. People would not die from fighting in world wars. Dennis Stewert Cullen Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that there is no more misuse of guns. There would be less killing and then we might not have any killing. The less people who use guns the happier our world will be. Devon Eric Frank Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that man could go back in time and fix everything that man has done wrong, like killing buffalo for their hide. I wish we could fix the ozone and the pollution and save the extinct animals and rain forest (jungle). Ryan Eric Befurt Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the word is that there would be no more destruction of the rain forest because 30 per cent of the world is forest. If there were no trees there would he no•life on Earth because there would he no oxygen for life to breathe. Konrad Hammel Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My 'Christmas Wish My wish for the world is to save the rainforest because then we can have a lot of trees to clean the air and give us oxygen. There would be more homes for the native people and the endangered animals would have a home. Scott Cox Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that nobody took harmful drugs that made them die in pain. No one would be sad or hurt or mad. If nobody would take drugs, no one would die from drugs or act dumb. Nobody would die in car crashes from drinking and driving. I wish that nobody would take drugs. Cheryl Armstrong Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is peace. If there isn't peace the world will have more and more people dying and more people getting sick. If there was more peace it would be a lot more quiet and not be so many wars and so many people dying and getting hurt. I really wish for more peace and not so much violence on the world. Michelle De Wit Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is to take care of people. They are dying in other countries. We should respect the people out there because they are friends. Stephen Warner Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that there would be clothes, food, shelter and money for the poor. There wouldn't be any starving because the people starving from not eating any food. There wouldn't be any naked people because they don't have clothes. I would like to go all over the world to build houses for the poor. Sarah Brubacher Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everybody would be safe. I wish that because we would have more people in the world and everybody would be healthy. Then everybody would drive safely and they wouldn't get hurt or killed when they're driving. James Bank Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everyone would be friends. There would be no more fighting and there would be a lot more people living on earth. There would be more animals living too. There would be a lot more homes for homeless people if everybody would be friends. Phil Affolter Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everyone could have what they need. We have all the things we need and we want more, but some people only eat once a month or not at all, and some people don't have any clothes. If everyone had what they need everyone would be a lot happier. Amy Demaray Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that no one would cut down our beautiful rainforests. Every time we cut down a tree, we are destroying an animal's home. It's our responsibility to protect our beautiful rainforests. If we just stop cutting down the rain forests, life would be better to live in. So please save the rainforests. Crystal Edgar Gr. 4, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everyone would have a good education. If they get a good education they will have a good job. If we don't get a good education and job, we can't feed our families and kids. If we don't get a good education we can't read or write. Jordan Van Veen Gr. 5, Grey Central P.S. My Christmas Wish My wish for the world is that everyone would put a stop to racism. I think if we try to stop racism we will be a lot better friends. I will list some of the horrible ways this thing called racism can be used: it can be used by colour of your skin, your religion, your customs, the clothes you wear, the food you eat and your disabilities. I guess people have to learn to accept other people's Continued on page 24
