4—H
meets
The Brussels I 4-H Club,
Christmas Krafters held its fifth
meeting on Nov. 1. They opened
the meeting with the 4-H pledge. It
was decided where and when the
achievement program was going to
be.
They made poinsettias that hold
candy canes.
The meeting was closed with
"learn to do by doing."
The sixth meeting was held on
Nov. 8.
Some of the members started to
bake Christmas cookies. One of the
leaders started the other members
making a snowman candy holder
out of a baby food jar. Then the
members who brought food gave
samples around of their baking
homework. The cookies fresh from
the oven were also tasted.
The president closed the meeting
with "learn to do by doing."
