Frankens live in Colborne
Samantha and Charles Terpstra
FRANKEN — CHISHOLM
Susan Chisholm and Tom
Franken were united in marriage on
Sept. 11, 1993 at St. Augustine
Catholic Church, St. Augustine,
with Father Reitzel officiating.
Susan is the daughter of Ray and
Pat Chisholm, Goderich, and Tom
is the son of Emma Franken of
Auburn.
Maid of Honour was Cathy
McGee, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Dutot,
cousin of the bride and Mary-Anne
Franken, sister of the groom.
Best man was Rob Rodger,
friend of the groom. Ushers were
Dave Franken, brother of the
groom and Michael Chisholm,
brother of the bride.
Following the wedding
ceremony, a lovely dinner and
reception took place at the
Goderich Township Community
Centre in Holmesville.
Susan and Tom spent their
honeymoon at Paradise Streams
Resort, Pocanos, Penn. They are
residing in Colbome Twp.

Couple weds in St. Ambrose
TERPSTRA-NESBITT
The union of Samantha Nesbitt
and Charles Terpstra was solem-
nised at St. Ambrose Church in
Brussels on Oct. 9, 1993.
The celebrants were Father Joe
Nevitt and Father Joseph Hardy.
The bride is the daughter of
Floyd and Mary Nesbitt of Seaforth
and the groom is the son of Charles
and Catherine Terpstra of Brussels.
The bride was attended by her
maid of honour Brenda Nesbitt of
Clinton, cousin of the bride; brides-
maids Amanda Poppe of Dublin,
Jennifer Roth of Hensall, Shelley
O'Brien of Seaforth, friends of the
couple and Kady Terpstra of Brus-
sels, sister of the groom.
The Wingham & District
Community Living Association
held its Annual Lottery Dinner &
Dance on Nov. 6 at the Lucknow
Community Centre, under lottery
license # P931332.
The evening's Master of
Ceremonies was John Chippa of
CKNX and entertainment was
provided by Rick Passmore, DJ for
the dance that followed.
Winners of the $1,000 draws
were: Ann and Ron Lamont,
Brother of the groom, Joe Terp-
stra acted as bestman with Chris
Terpstra, brother of the groom,
Brian Alcock, Chris Smith and Joe
Ryan, friends of the couple, all of
Brussels as the ushers.
Organ music was provided by
Mary Terpstra of Brussels and
vocalists were Miriam Terpstra of
Brussels and Cheryl-Ann Storey of
Seaforth.
Altar boys were Peter Terpstra,
Robert Terpstra and Derek Terpstra
all of Brussels.
After a reception at the BMG
Community Centre, the couple
honeymooned in Bayfield.
They now reside at RR 3 Brus-
sels.

The scheduled renovation for the
front entrance of Clinton Public
Hospital has been set back again.
The board of directors decided at
the Oct. 25 meeting that the pro-
posed project, at a cost of between
$83,000 and $104,000 plus associ-
ated fees, would not be accepted.
The board made a request to the
property committee to review the
need for the renovation and return a
plan of action report within a maxi-
mum budget of $25,000.
The hospital will be receiving
some new equipment. The board
approved the purchase of an auto-
matic blood pressure monitor with
a recorder/printer at a cost of
$11,994.70.
The hospital received a donation
of $1,000 from the Clinton High
School reunion. It was decided by
the board to use this money
towards the purchase of a whirlpool
tub and chair for the physiotherapy
department at a maximum cost of
$1,450.
The finance committee reported a
surplus of $23,782 durine the
month of September which would
bring the year-to-date surplus to
$104,664.
Several doctors have been
approved for hospital privileges.
Dr. P.K. Anand and Dr. John Vet-
ters were approved for courtesy
privileges.
Dr. Keith Bush, Dr. Yves
Oulette. Dr. Rajeev Shukla and Dr.
David G. Stevens were approved
for locum tenes privileges.
_The board appointed Harry Lear
of Londeboro, to the position of
treasurer for the 1993-94 year.
