Couple weds in garden

On Saturday, July 31, 1993, Lori
Willie and Mike Vader were
married at Melville Presbyterian
Church, Brussels. Caroline
McAvoy officiated.
The bride is the daughter of. Jane
and Lorne Draper and the late
Wilfred Willie. The groom is the
son of Mrs. Anne Exel and Mr.
Jack Vader.
The bride's maid of honour was
Lara Parker, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Michelle
Richmond, sister of the groom and
Patti Harrison, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Chris Graber,
friend of the groom, Paul Willie,
brother of the bride, Matthew
Snyder, friend of both, and Mike
McDonald, friend of the groom

After the double-ring ceremony
the guests were received at the
B. M. & G. Community Centre.
Special guests were the bride's
grandmother Joan Wissler and
great-grandparents Margaret and
Jack Weins, the groom's
grandparents Gerald and Gerrije
Exel and John and Catherine
Vader.
The happy couple honeymooned
in Niagara Falls and now reside in
CFB Petawawa, Ontario.

to advisory bd.
Retiring MP for Huron-Bruce,
Murray Cardiff has accepted an
invitation to participate on the
director of education's advisory
council.
Director Paul Carroll announced
at the Nov. 1 meeting of the HCBE
that he is in the process of setting
up an advisory board to give him
input from other sectors of the
community.
Others accepting the position are
Art Church, CEO of Champion
Road Machinery Ltd; Shirley
Keller, general manager of Signal-
Star Publishing; Audrey McLlwain,
partner in John H. McLlwain Con-
struction; Ken Wood, F.E. Madill's
former principal and An Lam,
grade 12 student at South Huron

On the evening of June 24, 1993,
Dorene Anne Cardiff and Uli Ryter
were married in the tranquil setting
of the bride's flower garden. Rev-
erend Cameron MacMillan officiat-
ed at the double ring ceremony.
Witnesses were Michael and San-
dra Aussem of Londesboro, friends
of the couple.
The bride is the daughter of Ross
Cardiff of Brussels and the late
Lena Cardiff. The groom is the son
of Bertha Ryter of Kreuzlingen,
Switzerland and the late Fritz
Ryter.
On Saturday, June 26, the newly-
weds welcomed friends and rela-
tives to Idyllwood, their farm near
Brussels, for a celebration of their
marriage. Guests arrived for a late
afternoon garden party with
refreshments in the summer-house,
