It was agreed that the lease

building.

Hall Bd.
resolves
rental
issues
Continued from page 3
chasing a small used snowblower.
Caretaker Janice Henry reported
that the blinds had been installed in
the lower hall thanks to the gen-
erosity of the Blyth Legion Ladies
Auxiliary.
In reviewing the rental agree-
ment, the board added an item. The
caretaker has to be given at least 24
hours notice regarding setup
arrangements.
A heating duct inspection was
conducted by Hartley Richie of
Hartech Services to try and solve
the problem of poor air circulation
in the heating months.
Mr. Richie advised the board that
the installation of cold air returns in
the face of the stage would draw air
down from the ceiling and help
with the heating problem.
No decisions were made at this
meeting.
Two rental issues were also
resolved.
It was moved by Mr. Salverda
that once a community group had
ceased to use the hall on a regular
basis, the special price set before
Sept. 27, 1993 would be discontin-
ued.
The group would be required to
renegotiate a price once regular use
resumed.
The board decided to create a list
of services outside groups would
have to provide for themselves
when using the hall facilities.
