Kimberley Schedler and Craig Fair.
Every type of music was
represented from classical to jazz,
folk to current musical hits.
Seventeen ensemble numbers used
one and two pianos for the duets
and quartettes. Some numbers used
synthesized sound through the
Roland digital piano.
Ms Henry announced as well that
More Munsch! will replace the
Theatre For Young Audiences
presentation of Murmel, Murmel,
Mortimer Munsch originally
scheduled to take place in the
McManus from Dec. 14 through
Jan. 8, 1994.
Under the collective title More
Munsch!, five more beloved Robert
Munsch stories, adapted for the
stage by Kim McCaw, will be
brought to life in the McManus.
Featured stories include "Show and
Tell", "Purple, Green and Yellow",
"The Fire Station", "Jonathan
Cleaned Up — Then He Heard a
Sound (or Blackberry Subway
Jam)" and "Something Good".
Mary Lisle and Lesley Pike
performed a vocal duet while
accompanying themselves on piano
and guitar, and the Bokhout girls:
Rachel, Jessica, Stephanie and Sara
Louise played a piano quartette
with their new brothers John and
Colin on rhythm instruments. Then
their father Maarten joined the girls
to play in a "string quintet".
More Munsch! is recommended
for children between the ages of
four and nine years. Tickets are $7
each.

of The Grand Theatre's 1993-94
season set to open Oct. 29.

the Grand Theatre (75-79), will star
as Andrew Makepeace Ladd III in
the first week (Oct. 26-30) opposite

1992. This production marks Ms
Hitch Blendick's Grand debut.
Week three (Nov. 8 through 13)
will feature another Stratford
Festival couple, Goldie Semple and
Lorne Kennedy, both of whom
have performed on The Grand
Stage. Ms Semple appeared in Top
