Each day continues with the same events as Friday, plus the addition of a fiddle competition on Saturday, a step dance competition on Sunday and the events for adults and children both days. Collector's item Teeswater Custom Tractor owner Bill Ireland holds a finished model of the Waterloo Steam Engine built as an official souvenir of the International Plowing Match. Magazine new venture for builder Continued from A-S employees. With the IPM souvenir demands he has increased his staff to seven full-time people. Though his recognition has spread primarily by word of mouth, Mr. Ireland is usually in attendance at steam and toy shows. The Lobsinger Threshing Machine and Waterloo Steam Engine have attracted the attention of other groups interested in collectible souvenirs. Teeswater Custom Tractor has been approached by the Seaforth Agricultural Society to make a model of a Robert Bell Thresher, circa 1920, which will also be displayed at the Reunion and Renfrew County has asked for a replica of the Renfrew gas engine for the 1994 rpm. Mr. Ireland's interest in rural antiques and collectibles has prompted him to being another venture this past spring, a magazine published six times a year, called Canadian Antique Power. It is, he says, "Stuffed with tons of information for collectors and dealers." Since it began he has ben getting good co-operation from organizations like the Thresher's and museums to help compile information, he says. Copies of the latest edition of Canadian Antique Power will also be available at the Teeswater Custom Tractor Thresher Reunion display. Like new The pride collectors have in their antique autos is displayed in the quality of the exhibits at the Thresher Reunion. Even one as old as this 1898 Atlas looks good as new.
