Mrs. Anderson also has 20 grandchildren and 22 great grand- children, many of whom attended. Her special guest was her sister Clara Black of Campbellville. The family presented her with a pictorial family tree album of the Young family. An open house for friends, neigh- bours and relatives was held at Sarah Anderson's Belgrave-area home on Saturday, Sept. 4 to help celebrate her 90th birthday. Relatives gather at picnic Forty relatives and friends gathered last Sunday, Aug. 29 to share a picnic lunch and celebrate anniversaries and a birthday in the Beecroft connection at Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dow's. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beecroft celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 4. Dr. John and Mrs. Beecroft celebrated their 25th anniversary in June. Mr. Melville Beecroft will celebrate his 90th birthday in September. Guests attended from Barrie, Stayner, Wasaga Beach, Whitby, Brantford, Waterloo, Guelph, Palmerston, Listowel and the local area. Friends and neighbours of this community extend sincere sympathy to Mrs. Olive Campbell and her family in the loss of a dear daughter and sister, Mrs. John Galbraith (Marilyn Campbell), who passed away Aug. 29 at her home in Whitby. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beecroft who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Smith, Mr. Don Lowry of London and Don's mother Mrs. Adalon Lowry of Florida called on Mrs. Ruth Johnston on Thursday. Mrs. Anna Armstrong of Thorndale spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grasby. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Vincent of Milton spent the holiday weekend with his mother Mrs. Hilda Vincent. Congratulations to Mrs. Sarah Anderson who celebrated her 90th birthday at an Open House at her home on Saturday, Sept. 4. Mrs. Anderson was born on Sept 3, 1903 in Westport, Ontario to Richard and Lavonia Young. She attended Westport Public and Continuation School as well as Queen's University from 1919 to 1923. On July 2, 1928 she married Earl Anderson who predeceased her in 1974. Mrs. Anderson is involved in church activities the Women's Institute, quilting and bridge. She was joined in the celebration of her birthday by her six children: Pat Hunking, RR 1 Auburn; Audrey and Bill Schreiber, Milton; Muriel and Ed Hartlin, Kingston; Jim and Delvia Anderson, Guelph; Keith and Jean Anderson, Lloyd- town and Karen and Tom Moy,
