Arthritis
• campaign
begins
The Arthritis Society is the only
non-profit organization in Canada
devoted solely to the funding and
promotion of arthritis research,
patient care, and public education.
Ongoing research leads to new
knowledge and understanding of
this complex family of diseases
related to arthritis, as well as
tremendous achievement in
diagnosis and treatment.
During the month of September
neighbourhood canvassers will be
calling on every home in the area to
ask for financial support. If your
home is missed and you would like
to support the search for relief of
arthritis please call Jean Bewley,
Brussels area co-ordinator.
The 1992 campaign raised
$2,815 in Brussels and rural area
including Cranbrook and Ethel.
Organizers hope to make this year's
campaign as successful, Mrs.
Bewley says.
