Rapsons marry in Wingham
RAPSON-SANDERS
Father Joseph Nevitt officiated at
the marriage of Jennifer Sanders
and Bill Rapson at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church in Wingham, on
July 3, 1993 at 3 pm.
Jennifer is the daughter of Leo
and Corry Sanders of RR 4 Brus-
sels. Bill is the son of Mrs. Ruth
Rapson and the late John Rapson of
Seaforth.
The bride was attended by her
matron of honour Sharon Rapson,
sister-in-law of the groom and
Bridesmaid Julie Sanders, sister of
the bride. Both attendants are from
the Brussels area.
The bestman was the groom's
brother Albert Rapson of Brussels.
David Rapson of Brussels, brother
of the groom, was the usher.
The ceremony was filled with the
music of the Sacred Heart Church
Celebration Choir. The bride's sis-
ter, Julie Sanders and father, Leo
Sanders sang the 23rd psalm.
Nieces of the groom, Becky and
Allison Rapson joined Julie
Sanders for the singing of "Be

Sherri Howson and Mark
Cantelon were united in marriage at
Blyth United Church on Saturday,
July 17, 1993. Sherri is the
daughter of Doug and Barb
Howson of Blyth and Mark is the
son of George and Doris Cantelon
of Vanastra.
The maid of honour was Andrea
Cutler, friend of the bride. The
bridesmaids were Julia Shaddick,
Krista Rathwell and Robyn
Norman, all friends of the bride and
Sandra Howson, cousin of the
bride.
The best man was Rusty
Brandon, friend of the groom. Dave
O'Rourke, Ross McIntosh and Rick
Denys, friends of the groom and,_
Wayne Cantelon, brother of the
groom were the groomsmen. The
ushers were Rob Van Aaken and
Brad Falconer, friends of the groom
and Jeff Howson, brother of the
bride.
The flower girl was Megan
Patterson, cousin of the bride. The
ring bearer was Fraser Cantelon,
nephew of the groom.
The Masters of Ceremonies were
Pat Wild, friend of the groom and
Jeff Howson, brother of the bride.
A social gathering was held at
the home of the bride's parents and
a dinner reception followed at the

Michelle Cronin and Ron
McNichol were united in marriage
by Rev. Lorenzo Ramirez at Blyth
United Church on Saturday, July
10, 1993. Michelle is the daughter
of Tom and Cheryl Cronin, Blyth
and Ron is the son of Aubrey and
Grace McNichol, RR 2, Blyth.
Jody Sippel, friend of the bride,
was maid of honour. Bridesmaids
were Lisa Elliott, friend of the
bride and Debbie Root, sister of the
groom. Flower girl was Kaitlyn
Toll, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Herman
Thalen, Brussels, friend of the
groom. Ushers were Scott Cronin,
brother of the bride and John
McLachlan, nephew of the groom.
Tommy Cronin, Brussels, cousin of
the bride was ring bearer.
Soloist, Helen (Thalen) Campbell
of Sarnia sang "Annie's Song" and
"The Rose". The bride's mother
sang "The Wedding Prayer."
Organist was Phyllis Boak and
pianist was John Ramirez.
Glen McLachlan, Vanastra,
brother-in-law of the groom, acted
as Master of Ceremonies at the
dinner and reception which
followed at the Blyth and District
Community Centre.
Ron and Michelle are residing at
RR 4, Brussels.

on Mother's Day weekend
SNELL-CAMPBELL
A very lovely Mother's Day
weekend wedding took place on
Saturday, May 8, 1993 at St.
Andrew's Presbyterian Church,
Wingham when Heather Lynne
Campbell of RR 3, Blyth was
united in marriage to Daniel
Gordon Snell of RR 3, Blyth.
Officiants were Rev. John Vaudry
of Wingham and brother-in-law of
the groom Jay Klopfenstein of
Genoa City, WI.
The bride is the daughter of
Ralph and Nancy Campbell of RR
3, Blyth and the groom is the son of
Ronald and Sandra Snell of
Delevan, New York.
Accompanied by her father, the
bride entered the church wearing a
floor length gown of peau-de-sois.
The neckline and wrist length
sleeves were trimmed with
scalloped lace accented by beads
and sequins. The long flowing train
was accented by several rows of
nylon ruffles. The bride's bouquet
was a cascade of white roses and
miniature white carnations
accented by purple staffa, ivy and
fern.
The maid of honour was Janet
McCurry of St. Catharines, friend
of the bride. Bridesmaids included,
Cheryl Campbell, RR 3, Blyth,
sister of the bride; Karen Clugston,
Wingham, friend of the bride; and
Kathy Snell, Orillia, sister of the
groom. Their purple brocaded
dresses were cocktail length with
elbow-length sleeves and V-backs.
Each carried five long-stemmed
white roses.
Best man was Dave King,
Machias, New York, longtime
