The proposal for a specialized
transit service for the seniors and
disabled of Hullett Twp. was dis-
cussed at the Aug. 3 meeting of
council.
Council decided there would be
no objections to the service howev-
er, it would not contribute any
funding.
Councillor Tony Middegaal rep-
resented the township at the read-
ing of the report on the Jenkins

BREAK ENTER AND
THEFT OF MONEY
A front door to the "We Cut It"
hair shop on Victoria Street in
Goderich was kicked in overnight
and F. The meeting was held at the
Goderich Township Community
Centre in Holmesville on Aug. 3.
A by-law was passed by council,
to allow special annual drainage
rates to be imposed on land with
respect to money borrowed under
the Tile Drainage Act.
Council instructed R J Burnside
and Associates to continue with the
preparation for the rigid frame
structure on Sideroad 15/16, Conc.
13.
The severance application for
July 21-22 and $100 - $200 was
stolen from the cash drawer.
MISCHIEF AND THEFTS
(TOWN OF GODERICH)
Overnight July 24 a culprit cut a
swath along Nelson, Colborne,
Wesi and East Streets in Goderich
letting air out of tires, breaking rear
view mirrors and stealing money
left in one of the vehicles.
A vehicle on West Street had the
keys in it and the culprit stole the
vehicle, driving over a curb and
striking and breaking hydro pole
Part Lot 25, Conc. 11 was approved
by council.
Council will advise Mrs. June
Thomas, Londesboro, that a street
light will not be installed as
requested. The light will be adjust-
ed to provided improved light for
the area.
A special meeting of council was
held on July 29 to enact a by-law
stating council would comply with
the guidelines set out by the social
contract.

THEFT
The Brewers Retail Store on
Huron Road in Goderich was
broken into on Saturday, July N.
Twelve cases of beer were taken.
Included in the stolen beer were
Old Vienna, Canadian, Labatt's Ice,
Black Label and Canadian Ice.
It would appear that on the night
before approximately the same
amount of beer was stolen when a
thief forced entry to the Brewers
Retail through the east door.

your licence
drinking
and driving.
