husband, father and grandfather
Kenneth Bray, who passed away
August 1, 1991.
God looked around his garden
And found an empty space,
And looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.

shared a message which built on an
earlier one. He said, "To love our
neighbours as ourselves we must
first know and love and accept
ourselves. As we share love in our
worship, workshops and with
family and friends, old and new we
tap into the spring and fill the
reservoirs of love within us. Let us
live love as we go forth from this
gathering to love our neighbours."
The Gathering location changes
each year. Plans are being made to
hold it in Southern Ontario in 1996.
The McQuails are members of
the Lucknow Friends Worship
Group which meets in the Lucknow
and Wingham area and look
forward to having the Gathering in
their region.

artist's Port Colborne studio, she
says, to just sit and let her work
weave its therapeutic magic. "It
takes them out of the dimension.
It's a spiritual rest spot."
Ms Honsberger has enjoyed an
active career since graduating from
the Ontario College of Art in 1985
as a mature student. She has had
many solo exhibitions in public
galleries and has participated in
numerous juried shows throughout
the country and in Mexico and
Sweden. She has also conducted
workshops in paper and pulp sculp-
ture.
In 1989, Ms Honsberger was
chosen to represent the Sculptors
Society of Canada at the Interna-
tional Pulp and Paper Festival in
Harnosand, Sweden.
Her choice of medium evolved
she said during her years at OCA.
"I started making paper at the print
shop there. I knew I didn't want to
carve; I needed something irnmedi-
ate to work with, something I could
work with intuitively.
Creativity is a constant process
with her exhibits as each one comes
out differently. "I create again as I
set up. Each exhibit is a one-time
happening."
That renewal is a great part of the
artist's work. "My work is like a
celebration of life. It's a compul-
sion. If people can feel that renewal
I've said what I wanted to say."
Space Clearings will be on
exhibit until Aug. 14.
