The Business Development Centre of the Huron Community
Futures Program, whose goal will be to provide consulting and
financial assistance to small businesses, requires a General
Manager who will report to a Board of Directors. The General
Manager Is the key paid employee of the organization and will be
responsible to the board for the overall management and
direction of the Business Development Centre.
The person will be a leader and self-starter and will have
extensive knowledge with business management, finance, loan
evaluations, accounting, marketing and public relations.
Computer familiarity will be considered an asset.
A university degree in business administration is desirable but
not essential. Extensive experience In business and
management along with experience with the public are viewed as
key requirements. Salary to be determined on the basis of
qualification and experience.
