the idea came about because they
felt they wanted to do something to
be part of the weekend activities.
"We thought this sounded like fun,"
she says.

Saturday at The Ark, which is
located, on main street across from
the post office, teens can have a
bash at Wreck-a-Car. Also, there is
a chance to win by signing your
name on another car. The one who
signs on the secret designated spot
wins.
The Ark has also designed a
miniature golf course at the arena.
Price is $1 for 12 and under and $2
for adults. The course will be open
Friday evening, all day Saturday
and Sunday evening.
From 1-5 p.m. on Saturday the

prizes will be awarded.
The good time music will contin-
ue on Sunday afternoon with the
Maitland Valley Barndance hosted
by the Brussels Legion and held at
the BMG Community Centre.
Formerly the Warwick Jamboree,
the event was usually held in late
June, but for the first time this year
it will be part of FunFest weekend.
It traditionally draws a large fol-
lowing of music lovers from all
over who come to take their place
on stage or tap their toes to the
tunes.
The fun begins at 1 and ends at 5
p.m.
