HAVE FUN AT FUNFEST JULY 9, 10, 11
PAGE 12. THE CITIZEN, WEDNESDAY, JULY 7, 1993.
Just quackers
The kids have a blast helping the Brussels Lions ducks
along the route at Sunday afternoon's Duck Race. The little
yellow fellows are purchased prior to the race and the
lucky person who owns the first to the finish line will
receive $1.000.
McArter said were not as well par-
ticipated in last year as other years
so the club felt a change was need-
ed.
If the wind's blowing just right
the delicious aroma of barbecued
pork will begin to waft down to the
park from St. Johns Anglican
Church later that afternoon. Supper
is served from 4:30 to 7. Then the
Mennonite Church is hosting a
gospel concert at the church. Music
is by Cornerstone and a group of'
local entertainers.
The fun will end Sunday evening
with the traditional pajama parade,
starting at the ball park and ending
at the arena in time for the free
family dance.
Balance and inflate your tires
