CURTIS MUTTER JANICE JACKLIN
By Janice Jacklin, John Lowe
and Curtis Mutter
Janice — Life is full of so many
wonderful things with several
JOHN LOWE
different roads to take, and tonight,
we are at a crossroad; the grade
eight graduation of 1993.
John — As we stand here tonight,
we think of the last nine years of
our education, and how quickly
they have gone by.
Curtis — For some of us we have
been together from play school
right up until now. We gave others
a warm welcome when they joined
us.
Janice — Let's take a look down
at the first rung of the ladder.
"Kindergarten babies wash their
face in gravy." Does anyone
remember that song?
John — As we moved up the
ladder, we learned how to read,
print, count, listen and talk much
more. As we have grown up we
increased our knowledge — math,
science, geography, history, music,
phys. ed., literature, and art, not to
forget French, are the subjects we
tried to achieve to our best ability.
Curtis — In the future we hope to
try to reach the goals we have set
for ourselves.
To the parents and the teachers
we would like to thank you for
helping us find our keys to success
— concentration, co-operation,
perseverance, dedication. These
will help us achieve our dreams.
John — To our many important
friends, you have made the last
nine years of our life easier. Thank
you.
Curtis — In closing we would
like to leave you with this poem
written by Kriss Sanchez.
Janice — The world is always
changing,
And perhaps it seems to you,
Curtis — The values that you've
taught us,
Are the ones that we outgrew.
John — In many ways we're not
alike,
But yet it's still so true,
All — The things we value most
in us,
Are the things we've learned
from you.
A place
to grow

others want the same things to stay.
For me it has been a learning
experience, a time for me to grow,
A time for me to open up and
express all I have to show,
I have learned so much through
change, some reason, knowledge
and friends,
And one of the best aspects c`
change is that it never ends.
When I reflect upon our lives and
future, about possible changes we
could make,
I find the key to success is
acknowledging the need for change
and tonight is another step we take.
Good night!
