Blyth hosts weekend of family fun Off to the races these two young racers prepare for the ride in their rutabuggies at the Blyth Fesrtival on June 26. Class act The Seaforth District High School Marching Girls Band made its first appearance at the Rutabaga Parade this year. Just learning Johnathon Caldwell of Blyth takes a spin in a jeep that is just his size. There were four jeeps provided for the enjoyment of the young. Road rider The Mocha Temple Desert Rats are always an entertaining addition to the Blyth Rutabaga parade. Double fun A bicycle and balloons were a comical combination in this Rutabaga Festival parade entry for two. Thanks This member of the Bluewater Mocha Shrine Club Fire Brigade made some friends along the parade route, Saturday. The Shriners were frying fish for supper later that evening. A little music, anyone The Dixie Ramblers provided very lively,entertainment for those in attendance at the fourth annual Blyth Rutabaga Festival. The troupe wandered the fairgrounds Saturday afternoon. The ponies were kept busy all afternoon with children of all ages enjoying the activity.
