Blyth hosts weekend of family fun

Rutabaga Parade this year.

enjoyment of the young.

Rats are always an
entertaining addition to the
Blyth Rutabaga parade.

comical combination in this
Rutabaga Festival parade
entry for two.

This member of the Bluewater Mocha Shrine Club Fire
Brigade made some friends along the parade route,
Saturday. The Shriners were frying fish for supper later
that evening.
A little music, anyone
The Dixie Ramblers provided very lively,entertainment for those in attendance at the fourth
annual Blyth Rutabaga Festival. The troupe wandered the fairgrounds Saturday afternoon.

Taking it easy
Rehee Rock of Monkton, keeps her eye on all the
proceedings as she is led around the ring on a pony. The
ponies were kept busy all afternoon with children of all
ages enjoying the activity.
