The service started with the infant baptism of Manna Taylor, daughter of Peter and Lynda Uyl. The scripture reading came from Genesis 27: 41-28 :9. The test for the sermon "A Tired Mother" came from Genesis 27: 46. This piece of the bible is about Jacob and Esau. Esau vowed to killed Jacob after the passing of their father Isaac. Rebekah overheard this and told Jacob to flee until his brother was no longer angry. Rebekah did not want to lose both her husband and her favourite son in the same day. Over 100 breeds at show Continued from page 1 In order for a dog to become a champion it must accumulate at 10 points under at least three judges. Therefore, a dog must go to a mini- mum of three shows and win at all of these within its own breed, says Mrs. Pullen. The Bluewater Show is part of a circuit which begins in Sarnia, then ends in Woodstock. Well over 100 breeds will be rep- resented at the show and these will be divided into seven groups — sporting, hounds, working, terriers, toys, non-sporting and herding. Judges for the event are from Wisconsin, New Brunswick, Alber- ta and Ontario. The Bluewater Dog Show is open to the public with gate proceeds going to the Huronia Branch of the Humane Society for their assis- tance. Before Jacob left, Rebekah told Isaac she did not want Jacob to marry a Canaanite woman as his brother Esau did. Isaac asked for the Lord's blessing on Jacob to be fruitful and increase in numbers, then Isaac sent Jacob to Haran. When Esau learned Isaac blessed Jacob Esau realized how displeased his father was with his wives. He went to Ishmael and married Mahalath, to the wives he already had.
