Foundation for the future
Machinery moved in while the snow was on the ground to lay the foundation for the county's
two new county homes for the aged — Huronview in Tuckersmith and Huronlea in Morris. Congratulations

of your new facility

For the most part, construction at Huronview and Huronlea progressed smoothly with both
buildings sufficiently ready for the move, which took place in April of 1993.
A warm welcome
This past spring the community showed overwhelming support by showing up in droves to
come and view the new facilities at the Open House. In Brussels, over 800 people toured the
building.
