The GATOR 4x2. It carries up to 500 lb. of cargo with a 200-lb. operator
and passenger aboard. Yet its low ground pressure makes it a perfect
choice for golf course and park maintenance crews. Anyone who can drive
a car can operate a GATOR. And
anyone who needs increased
productivity can buy one.

Rutabaga Festival 1993
The host
This host of the Rutabaga Festival spent an enjoyable
afternoon visiting with all the guests who came out for the
annual event.
For the first time here will be
several forms of entertainment
available in the form of musical
and traditional family games.
Jeannette McNeil, treasurer for
the Rutabaga Featival Committee,
says that this is aimed at increasing
family involvment in the festival
During the entire day on Satur-
day, the Dixie Ramblers will be
roaming the Lions Park and the
Fairgrounds. They are travelling
minstrels that play Dixieland
music.
Saturday night, Eddie and the
Edsels will play for the evening
dance at the arena. The music cov-
ers the 50s and 60s. The dance is
sponsored by the Lions Club.
Two animal events at this years
Rutabaga Festival will delight the
young and the old.
For the first time the Optimists
are sponsoring the pony rides.
These will be available on Saturday
June 26 at the fairgrounds.
The other event is Betsy Bingo.
This involves the drawing of a grid
in a field. Contestants are then
asked to purchase one or more
squares on the grid.
At this point three cattle are
released from a truck and allowed
to wonder around the grid. The first
cow to leave her ''mark" determines
the third prize winner. This contin-
ues with "anticipation growing"
says Ray Salverda, chairperson for
the Rutabaga Festival Committee,
until the final cow has made her
deposit for the first prize.
This event, in its second year is
sponsored by the Blyth Lions Club
and the Huron County 4-H.
