Cooks share recipes
On the right side of the law
The Metro Toronto Police Winged Wheels Precision Team enjoy meeting with the visitors at
the Blyth Rutabaga Festival in the park, following their downtown performance on Saturday.
Once again inventive cooks will
be able to showcase their wares at
the fourth annual Rutabaga cooking
contest on Saturday June 26.
The rutabagas will be supplied by
Blyth businessperson George Hub-
bard, who in the past has had to
make available close to one ton of
the vegetable.
In previous years the number of
entrants neared 50 in the four cate-
gories. The entries were judged in
divisions for cakes, muffin or loaf,
pie and the most creative.
The winning entries will be sold
at the Saturday night dinner for all
