The wedding will take place on Saturday July 3rd at the Londesboro United Church at 3 p.m. Open Reception to follow at 9 p.m. at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre, Brussels. PAGE 10. Triple Vision entertains WI service enjoyed by visitors Chicken barbeque and The Family and Consumer Affairs meeting of Belgrave W.I. was held in the hall on Tuesday night, June 15 with Dorothy Coultes in charge. She welcomed everyone and read a poem, "What is a Community?" The program convenor, Isabel Campbell read a poem "The Secret then introduced Triple Vision, three young ladies who step dance. The guest speaker was Rev. Ivan Dambrowitz of Bluevale who spoke on family life. In his talk he compared the times when he was growing up on a farm in Northern Ontario with the average family today. In a humorous way he discussed family life and suggested ways to help young people during their growing up years. Isabel thanked him and the dancers and presented them with gifts. A social time was enjoyed while lunch was served by Mary Hunter and Gladys Van Camp. During the business meeting it was decided to update the electrical wiring in the hall. Plans were made to cater to the grade eight graduation banquet for East Wawanosh Public School and for two Blyth Theatre suppers. Norma Moore gave a report of the District Annual meeting held recently in Wingham. The collection and Pennies for Friendship were gathered and the meeting closed with the singing of "God Save the Queen." Mrs. Brenda Whitfield and her daughter Jenny of Sault Ste. Marie and Miss Cathy Nichols of Sudbury visited on the weekend with George and Doris Michie. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Makas and Alicia of London visited with Mrs. Mabel Wheeler on the weekend and also attended the church service and chicken barbecue. Friends and neighbours of this community extend sincere sympathy to Rev. John G. and Mrs. Roberts in the loss of his dear brother Herbert Roberts of Wales. Rev. Roberts attended his brother's funeral in Wales. Mrs. Jean Wightman of Belgrave accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Don Metcalfe of Walkerton and son Rae and friend of Toronto to attend the wedding of her grandson Mark Moore and Leesa Hutchinson at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Sarnia on Saturday, June 19. Knox celebrates Sunday School anniversary Knox United Church, Belgrave was filled to capacity on Sunday by members of Knox United, Calvin- Brick and visitors from other churches greeted by Jayne Vincent and Andrew Potter. It was the Sunday School Anniversary and Chicken Barbecue. Music for the service was supplied by Mrs. Elizabeth Procter at the organ and Mrs. Anne Spivey at the piano. At the beginning of the service the Sunday School children sang two songs "To be Like Jesus" and "God Made my Whole Body" conducted by Mrs. Lila Procter accompanied by Mrs. Anne Spivey at the piano. Call to Worship was conducted by Rev. Peter Tucker. "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus," was sung. The opening prayer was given by Jamie McCallum. A solo was sung by Harmony Spivey accompanied by her mother Anne Spivey. The scripture from Matthew 18: 1-7 was read by Becky Logan and from Matthew 18: 10-14 was read by Justin Black. The story time was "Special People" by Rev. Peter Tucker. Offering was taken by Jayne Vincent, Karrin Marks, Ross Higgins and John Nixon. "I Am So Glad" was sung. Two songs were_ performed by the Son-Shine Singers "Joy is Like the Rain" "Thank You, Thank You, Lord." The hymn "Sing Them Over Again to Me", was followed by the Son- Shine Singers singing "This is the Day". The closing prayers were read by Jayne Vincent. Following the service there was a chicken barbecue served in he Sunday School room of the church and in the W.I. Hall. June Special 10 WMS discusses joyful life story Monday morning, June 14 the W.M.S. held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Margaret Siertsema. Mrs. Garner Nicholson opened with a call to worship and the hymn "0 Love That will not Let me Go" was sung. A moment's silence, prayer and a unison reading of the 23rd Psalm was dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Alan Dunbar. A prayer was read by Mrs. Ivy Cloakey. The secretary and treasurer's reports were read and approved. The roll call was answered by a favourite flower. Mrs. Nicholson gave a review of the meeting held in Teeswater on June 5. Mrs. Siertsema read a poem on "Joy". Mrs. Nicholson read a story of the meaning of a joyful life. Sick and shut-in visits were recorded, the collection was received and dedicated.
