Youth busy
Continued from page 15
will be offered again. One will take
the form of a prayer circle. Another
will be a sermon discussion group.
Two different classes will be doing
a Bible Study on the Book of John.
The youth had a busy weekend.
On Friday evening they practised
for an upcoming church service.
On Saturday after taking their
turn at church cleaning, the group
travelled to Kitchener for roller
skating.
On Sunday evening there was an
outdoor concert at the church with
the "High Power" group.

The village learned it received
supplementary request funding for
one more block of construction on
Morris Street. Clerk-Administrator
said the village applied for $24,260
and received $24,000.

A request for a four way stop at
the corner of King and Mill Street
was approved. Council received a
letter from Blyth Public School
principal, Al Harrison, stating
"King Street is a very busy road
and certain residents travel at a
high rate of speed. I am very con-
cerned for the safety of our stu-
dents. The children are careless at
times, especially when riding bicy-
cles."
Council agreed it was a busy cor-
ner and instructed Road Foreman
John Rinn to erect the signs.
