Frank and Helen Sanders want to express their warmest thanks to family members, friends and neighbours who all in their own way made the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary such a truly overwhelming success. The way our children had every- thing organized from lodging for our visitors from New Zealand, Europe, Texas, Alberta, Oshawa, etc. to picking them up from airports and delivering them there again on time. Father Ray Renaud who made the church service such a beautiful and moving experience, with a family choir singing in a way that stole everybody's heart. The mountain of cards, the wishes of which we hope to experience yet. The closing party at the Brussels Legion hall where we met with so many good old friends from day one on in Canada. It was all so great. May you all who were part of our celebration in any way or manner or form remember it all with us in a long and happy life. - Frank and Helen Sanders. 23-1p C CARD OF THANKS SELLING. Thanks first to Dr. M. Gear residing in Wingham and Teeswater office for electing Dr. Chris Arciszewski Orthopaedic Surgeon of Stratford, Ontario, to perform a complete left knee replacement. Thanks to all in the O.R. for the splendid care I received, including our daughter Valerie Dick, O.R. Tech in Stratford Hospital. I had surgery 92/08/13 and spent the first week at Stratford and second week in our home hospital Wingham, under Dr. Gear's supervision and excellent care. Since that time, a long time I may add, being my muscle was in bad shape prior to operation and still to this date I have therapy twice a week. Thanks to Bill Glassier, Chief Therapist and his staff, Mrs. Leota (Bill) King whom was our neighbour in Wingham 20 years ago and most sincerely all the ladies - Wingham, Blyth and Brussels when seeing my condition and opening doors for me was much appreciated. Then last and not least my good wife (Jean) who visited me every day at Stratford, a 40 mile drive and Wingham eight miles, never missed a day for two weeks and then took me to Wingham Hospital for therapy when I was unable to either walk or drive. Thanks a lot and God bless. - Henry. 23-1 COMING EVENTS BUCK AND DOE FOR KIM Duskocy and Jim Scott, Friday, June 11 from 9 to 1 at B. M. & G. Community Centre. Age of majority.
