A POTPOURRI
Wow, talk about busy or things
raining cats and dogs. We have
been on the go almost everyday
with something' or somebody in
some classroom.
The students spent Friday, May
7, picking up garbage about the
town. Almost everyone remarked
how really little we picked up
compared to other years.
On Thursday evening, May 6 the
Brussels choir, and band put on a
wonderful musical performance
with lots of songs and dances. It
was a blast.
On Tuesday, May 11, the grade
seven and eights went to Howick to
watch a play on sexual abuse. It
was performed well by the
Goderich High School drama class.
I think everyone learned a lot.
On Thursday, May 13, after
lunch, the grade seven/eight class
got to tell Julie Harrison their
opinions on what they wanted to do
for graduation.
Some grade sevens and some
grade eight students spent Friday,
May 14, at a Bordenball Tourna-
ment at East Wawanosh. Although
it was a cool day, everyone had a
wonderful time.

Mrs. McCall thanked Ms
McCaffrey for her information and
presented her with a gift.
A trio made up of Betty
Campbell, Joyce Jacklin and
Reverend Cam McMillan enter-
tained, singing several songs
including "Walk a Little Slower".
They were accompanied by Alice
Brothers on the piano. Gifts were
presented by Mrs. McCall to the
trio.
Mrs. Brothers gave the motto
which was, "may we put away
pretense and meet each other, face
to face, without self-pity, and
without prejudice?"
Jean Fraser read the correspon-
dence. Included in this were two
invitations to 90th anniversaries,
one in Bluevale on June 9 at 1:30
p.m., the other to Fordwich on June
16 at 2 p.m. Due to the special
anniversary on June 9 at Bluevale,

meet at the library at 1 p.m.

to attend the Ethel 4H club
Achievement Program on May 26
in the Ethel United Church
basement at 7:30 p.m.

District Annual that was held in
Walton on May 11.

Convention to be held on October
27 - 28 in the Brussels, Morris and
