It's estimated that most people need twice as much as they're getting now. That amounts to about 25 to 30 grams of fibre each day. It sounds like a lot of fibre, but it's not hard to get if you choose the right foods. BETTS FUNERAL HOME WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PRE-PLANNING? The greatest advantage is that the decision as to the type of funeral desired can be made at a less emotional time. Rather than require a bereaved survivor who may be unsure as to "What is Best", an individual can make clear his or her wishes and remove the task of decision making from the family. CAN A FUNERAL BE PRE-PAID? Those who choose to pre-arrange a funeral service may also pre- pay at the Betts Funeral Home. The big advantage is that generally, the price agreed upon will remain the same, regardless of inflation or cost increases. WHAT HAPPENS TO THESE FUNDS WHEN I PRE-PAY? At the Betts Funeral Home we offer guaranteed funeral deposits only. The money is deposited with the National Trust. Interest accrued on these funds must remain until the time of withdrawal and go towards offsetting the impact of inflation upon the agreed cost. If there is any excess monies at the time of the withdrawal the excess amount would be refunded back to the estate.
