I would like to thank my friends, acquaintances and business associates for your kind words of condolence to me and the beautiful tributes to Franklin. My heart is broken by the loss of Franklin, but I must live with that wound. I know that Franklin would expect me to carry on. And I know that he is in God's loving care. For tickets call 522-1301. 10-3 DEATH NOTICES BAEKER. John Thomson, born in Brussels, Ont. on March 20, 1918. Son of the late Cleve Baeker and Florence Thomson. Graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Pharmacy (1942). Owned and operated Baeker Drugs in Wheatley for approximately 33 years. During those years he was active in community affairs. He was chairman of the Executive Committee of the Wheatley area arena during the planning and construction of the arena. He was also a former chairman of the Wheatley Elementary School Board. Passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 2, 1993 at the Leamington Mennonite Home, formerly of Hillside Ave., Wheatley. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret Homuth and daughters Nancy O'Reilly and Sally Charlton, both of Windsor. Dear brother of Elizabeth Beaver of London. Funeral service was on Thursday, March 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Henry Epp officiating.
