Family and friends of Alice Proc- ter gathered on Valentines Day for an Open House at Belgrave Insti- tute Hall to mark the momentous occasion. Winners were: ladies' high, Mrs. Jane Grasby; most shoots, Mrs. Helen Stonehouse; birthday closest to Feb. 14, Mrs. Lois Chamney; marked cards, Mrs. Ida Procter; low, Mrs. Barbara Anderson; men's high, Stuart Chamney; most shoots, Lloyd Appleby. The successful candidate must have Grade 12 education, related post-sec- ondary education desirable. Related experience working with people with developmental and physical disabilities would be an asset. A thorough working knowledge of and experience with a variety of computers, communication programs, peripheral devices and various types or communication preferred. This is a six month contract position, working an average of twenty hours per week. Salary to commensurate with experience. George Carter wins high man Thirteen tables were in play at the weekly euchre held in the W.I. Hall Wednesday evening, Feb. 10. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Oscar Schefter; second high, Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse; most lone hands, Mrs. Garner Nicholson; Quite a lady Alice Procter celebrated her 92nd birthday this past weekend at the Belgrave WI Hall on Sunday. A family dinner was held in her honour on Friday night at her son's home. Alice Procter turns 92 Mrs. Procter was educated at Wingham public and high schools. On Dec. 14, 1922 she married Stewart Procter and together the couple had five children, Charles, Ross, George, Mary (Thomas) and Ruth (Alton). Prior to retiring, Mrs. Procter worked as a dental assistant. Her interests have been church oriented as a member of the Belgrave Unit- ed Church and of the choir at both the Belgrave and Wingham United Church. She was also actively involved with the Belgrave UCW and Women's Institute. On Friday evening Mrs. Procter was the guest of honour at a family dinner held at the home of Ross and Mary Louise Procter.
