Klopp announces grant to Huron library MPP Paul Klopp announced Dec. 11 on behalf of Ontario Minister of Culture and Communications Karen Haslam, a grant of $4,000 to the Huron County Public Library. The information Network for Ontario (INFO) grant will be used to help the library upgrade its computers and participate in the new province-wide, resource- sharing information network to be The Federation of Women Teachers' Associations of Ontario applauded the Ontario Government for its intention to add proportional and proxy comparisons to the Pay Equity Act, but raised serious concerns about the methods proposed to accomplish this, and voiced strong objection to several other provisions of the amending Bill 102. Power scorers Marks, Campbell Goderich MPP Paul Klopp (Huron) announced Jan. 22 on behalf of Ontario Housing Minister Evelyn Gigantes that Coraline Roche, a Goderich resident, has been appointed to the Huron County Housing Authority. Ms Roche, a community volunteer, will serve as a provincial representative on the seven- member authority, which manages Ontario Housing Corporation's (OHC) 415 assisted housing units in Bayfield, Blyth, Brussels, Clinton, Exeter, Goderich, Seaforth, Wingham and Zurich. Betty Oke, a provincial representative from Zurich, has been elevated to chair. Local housing authorities carry out the day-to-day management of OHC's 84,000 housing units. "During this recession, it is vital employers.
