Klopp announces grant to Huron library
MPP Paul Klopp announced Dec.
11 on behalf of Ontario Minister of
Culture and Communications
Karen Haslam, a grant of $4,000 to
the Huron County Public Library.

to help the library upgrade its
computers and participate in the

did Brussels as Alexander and
Bromley teamed up again for a

By this time, it seemed Zurich
had enough of back and forth and
laid three more goals on Brussels in
the second. They topped it off with
another goal seconds into the third.
But Brussels wasn't giving up
without a fight. Bromley added to
his impressive scoring record with
another goal, assisted by Finch and
Chris Stevenson.
Zurich lobbed another into the
net and with only one more Brus-
sels goal by Finch, assisted by
Alexander and Bromley, Zurich
edged Brussels 7-6.
Two days later, the midgets
renewed their edge with a sweeping
win against Milverton.
Final score was 9-3 for Brus-
sels.

MPP Paul Klopp (Huron)
announced Jan. 22 on behalf of
Ontario Housing Minister Evelyn
Gigantes that Coraline Roche, a
Goderich resident, has been
appointed to the Huron County
Housing Authority.
Ms Roche, a community
volunteer, will serve as a provincial
representative on the seven-
member authority, which manages
Ontario Housing Corporation's
(OHC) 415 assisted housing units
in Bayfield, Blyth, Brussels,
Clinton, Exeter, Goderich,
Seaforth, Wingham and Zurich.
Betty Oke, a provincial
representative from Zurich, has
been elevated to chair.
Local housing authorities carry
out the day-to-day management of
OHC's 84,000 housing units.

video tapes held in 120 public and

more equitable, efficient, effective
programmes, collections and
services for a diverse public facing
the changing social, political,
economic and personal demands of

Reference Library, the Ontario
Library Service North, the
Southern Ontario Library Service
and Utlas worked in partnership
with the ministry to make the
project possible.
