Sponsored were Cook's Walton, Huron Feeding Systems, Dauphin Feed and Supply, Brussels Livestock and Brussels Agromart. Door prizes were donated by Topnotch Feeds, Cook's and Brussels Agromart. On the 9:00 a.m. draw, prizes were given to the following teams: first - 45.75 points, Gord Pryce, Neil McGavin, John McFadzean and Jeff McGavin; second - 38.25 points, Dave Trafford, Bob Philsinger, Jim Joy and Ed Tumak; third - 37.5 points, Don Riehl, Bob Packham, Cliff Campbell and Bruce Eisler; fourth - 27.5 points, Wayne Lowe, Gary Pipe, Ed Stewart and John Lowe; fifth - 23 points, Ken Dalton, Doc Stephenson, Keith Mulvey and Don Sholdice; sixth - 22.25 points, Erne Lewington, Tom Warwick, Ron Bergsma and Reese VanDerveen. On the 11:00 a.m. draw, prizes were presented to: first, 50.5 points, Ross Engel, Ike Martin, Stan Waldie and Lloyd Drummond; second, 42.25 points, Michael Alexander, Brad Speiran, George Zwep and Keith Williamson; third. 40.5 points, Stew Steiss, Mervyn Quipp, Peter DeJong and Kevin DeJong; fourth, 39.25 points, Gord Roulston, Elmer Smeltzer, Don Gaunt and Mark Bowley; fifth, 27.5 points, Bill Dowd, Ken Elg, David Steven and Ed Metzger; sixth, 26 points, Mervyn Bauer, Orval Bauer, Bill Edgar and Brett Bauer; seventh, 22 points, Dan Gascho, Bob Fries, Ron Futher and Paul Rose; eighth, 14 points, Close match between Atoms Brussels Atoms played Belgrave Atoms Friday night in Brussels in a close match. Brussels' Matthew McLellan, assisted by Nathon Conley and Joel Kellington score the first goal min- utes into the first period. Belgrave tied it up early in the second with a goal by Tyler Fen- ton, assisted by Tim Robinson. Then Brussels added two more to the scoreboard as Conley, assisted by McLellan and Robbie Mitchell and Trevor Wilson, assisted by Carla Hunt, scored. They added to their lead in the third period when Wilson, assisted by Ryan Smith and McLellan, assisted by Chad Fischer and Dar- rell Dalton scored. Belgrave was four behind but Craig Marks decided he was going to do something about it and lobbed two in the net late in the third. Final score was 5-3 for Brus- sels. Fischer top PeeWee scorer Clint Fischer led the Brussels PeeWee Houseleague team to a convincing win against Goderich Friday night. Fischer shot four goals into the opposition net along with Corey Campbell, assisted by David Proulx; Tanner banks, assisted by Mike Cooper and Scott Clarkson. Proulx, Campbell, Jason Gulut- zen, Jeff Finch and Jason Kelling- ton all earned assists. Walter Bosch, Doug Cowing, Bruce Hahn and Dennis Wagner. The first draw of regular curling ended recently. The winning teams of Monday night mixed curling were: first, 44 points and 40 rocks, Bill Shortreed, Donna Knight, Michael Alexander and Marg Taylor; second, 44 points and 38 rocks, George Zwep, Teuni Smith, Steve Steiss and Dave Linton; third, 41.5 points, Jim Patterson, Annette Lewington, Stew Steiss and Madelene Steiss. The winners of the Tuesday afternoon ladies curling were: first, 42 points, Valerie Shortreed, Fran Bremner and JoAnn McDonald; second, 41 points, Mary Bernard, Heidi McClure, Gloria Wilbee and Sandra Pepper; third, 38 points, Velma Locking, Jean Bewley, Sharon Brown and Janice Becker.
