Rev. Paul Ross conducted the
Holy Communion service at Knox
United Church. Bernice Gross was
organist.
The Choral Invitation to Worship
was sung followed by the prayers
of Approach and Confession. The

Rev. Ross had conversation with
the children. The Lord's Prayer was
repeated. "Go Tell It On The
Mountain" and "The Race That
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Irwin, Jean
Fox, Olwen Wood and Beth Knox
enjoyed a turkey dinner on Dec. 20
at the home of Barb and Mel Knox
and family.
Christmas Day Barb, Mel,
Theresa, Chris, and Beth Knox had
Christmas dinner with Barb's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Irwin of
Clinton and Mr. and Mrs. John
Irwin and daughter from Bright.
Beth's London family came on
Sunday, Dec. 27. Mr. and Mrs. Art
Knight, David Swan and friend,
Mr. and Mrs. Rick Swan, Ricky
and Mark, stayed for dinner and a
visit. Later in the afternoon, the
Swan families visited with their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Swan of Clinton.
On Jan. 1 Beth Knox enjoyed a
duck dinner at Hazel Watkins.

Church on Sunday, Jan. 10 were
Lorne and Renee Snell. Ushers
were Todd Shaddick, Fred Peel,
Kevin and Kent Shillinglaw.
The choir sang the anthem, "All
Through The Year." The sermon
topic was "I Can't Do That". Holy
Communion followed.

at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Ethel

Volleyball attracts
four good teams
The Volleyball Tournament was
held at Hullett Central School on
Sunday, Jan. 10 from 2 - 4 p.m.
There were four teams with Linda
Horbanuik's team winning. About
40 people attended this event.
WI hosts euchre card party
There were 11 tables of euchre at Marg Anderson, Marion Haggitt
the W.I. card party on Friday and Dorothy Daer. Lucky chair
evening, Jan. 8. prize was won by Kay Konarski.
The lucky winners were: Bert The next euchre will be held
Daer, Erma Crich, Ted Fothergill, Friday, Jan. 22.
