Wilma Vandervelde, Diane Miltenberg at►d • Anne Altai, who was fillingin for Marilyn Ivfacintyre. r They askedfor volunteers to help put on skits' showing poor use of safety rules: Two panels tried to pick out rules that were being broken. The panels were Missy Dalton, Andrew Glenn; Tanya MacGinnis and. Miss Sharon Alton, Scott Rinloul, Tanya Lohse. The volunteers that . helped were Scott Gibson, Brad Bale, Misti Humphrey, Ruth Anne. Durnin, Joel. Wright, 'Mark . Andrew and Adella Andrew. Miss Dalton's panel each won a ticket for a BROOKSIDE BROADCAST free swim for picking the most rules broken and. Miss Alton's .panel each got a. lifesaver. Mr.' Hazlitt's • grade 7 class went 'to the `pine River .Cheese Factory- and the Bruce Nuclear Power Development Plant on June 8 In the fall, Mrs.. Nancy Cairrnron will be teaching one kindergarten•: class aiid Miss Beth Garland from Goderich will teach the other. We welcome Miss Garland to Brook- side. 'Mrs. Blanchette's grrade, 2 class • had visitors on Tuesday. Mrs. Bieman brought in two piglets in a cage. They belonged to Blair Bieman who showed them in the classes on the primary -wing... Mrs. Worsell's grade 3 went to the brook and bush for a hike on Thursday. They caughtsix crayfish for Mr. Stecca's aquar- ium. They saw many interesting creatures. The two pitch. ball tournament took place at Goderich on Tuesday. Teachers who went were Mr. Liddle, Mrs. Allen, Miss Bode and Mr. Errington. Congratulations to the junior boys who got they consolation prize. Barbara Kerr came on Tuesday to conduct drama classes as she has once a week for the past few weeks.
