Wayne Joseph- Courtney of , Calgary, Alberta was reported .missing and presuin- ed drowned after his kayack flipped over in the Kicking Horse River, 10 kilometres east of Golden, B.C. September Lindell Cross, 17, of Kinloss Township, was named Miss Lucknow Fall Fair and subsequently runnerup in the Miss Mid- western Ontario Pageant at the Lucknow Fall Fair. ' Miss Kincardine Fall, Fair Beatrice Bosiger was named Miss Mid- western Ontario. She was crowned by last year's queen, Diane McLean of Wingham. The former Mary Fisher, of Whitechurch, she is the daughter of Rena Fisher. of Wingham.
