The greatest gift I could give is christ
The Greatest Gift 1 Could Give Is Christ
I vvould tell him/her -that Jesus died/for
our sins so that we could go to heaven to be
with him. He wants .us to read the Bible
and ask God's spirit to come into my heart.
We pray to him to please forgive our sins
so we can be as white as snow.
Satan is trying to make us do bad things
so that we will die and be with Satan.
Christians don't want to go to hell. They
want to go to heaven to be with Jesus.
Satan will try anything to make us de
wrong. So we have a battle against Satan.
• In the Bible it says that Jesus will. crush
Satan's head. In the end God will judge us
and we will go either to heaven or to hell. If
we do bad we will go to hell but if we do
good we will go to heaven.
God shows that He loves us through
creation. He helps through difficulties and
troubles that we might have,
Michael VanderVelde,

The Greatest Gift I Could Give
The greatest gift I Could give would be
love. Everbydoy wants love. You 'can't •
wrap it up in fancy paper and ribbons. I
could also give kindness and 'helpfulneSs.
You can't put it undet the tree or put it in a
stocking. But there are other ways you can
give love, kindness, and helpfulness to
your friends, fainily and so on.
Christmas Dinner. You could help with
the dishes instead of sneaking away trying
to get of doing them. (All the dishes!) I bet
,your Morn would like. that. You can also
help by playing with your little brother,

sister, or cousins. Show them some toys
and hope they stop crying while waiting for
their mom to get done the dishes.
If somebody takes your friend's Christ-
. mas cookie, give him one of yours. If your
friend slips on ice, help him up. There is
also many other ways you can show hive,
• kindness, and helpfulness at Christmas. I
• think I might just try that this Christmas.
Won't you?

Projections and Predictions For the Future
Ethiopa. We all know what's happening
there. Millions of people are starving from
a famine that has lasted more than two
years. Slowly. the Sahara Desert is
becoming larger and catching t northe
tip of Ethiopia. People from t e north are
• walking hundreds of miles, n even know-
ing if where they are heade ny better.
g to
Canadians are most generous in try
save them. It takes weeks for the foo
send to get there.
I hope in the future that this famine will
become less severe. I wonder how many
people are going to die on those cold
nigits.
I s soall o
get better over .years and the people will
get more food as the years go on.
Joanne Aujens,
Grade 8, Lucknow Christian School.
Christmas Is Special At My House
Christmas is special at my house..
-because it ,is a time of sharing and also a
time of remembering Jesus Christ, God's
only begotten Son's birthday. •
It is also a time when the whole family
get to give gifts to each other, to share the
/ joys of the past Christmas, and what the
ones ahead will be like. This is if there are
any more ahead because you never; know '
when a nuclear, war will start. If there is
more Christmases ahead what will they be
like. Will they also be filled with fear of a
nuclear war?
At my house we aren't worried if a
nuclear war will break out because we
know that God will guide us through it.
• That is not the most important thing: The
most important thing is that Jesus Christ
was born on that day. Every year,
Christian or not, I think we should all
celebrate Christ's liirth on that very sane
day, December 25.
