up one minute later on a goal from Gran*
Murray. Steve Simpson gave the Lancers
the lead but Exeter tied itup before the
period ended.
Grant Murray and Steve Simpson scored
again in the second frame only : to have
Exeter score three for a 5-.41ead at the end
of two, Two more goals by Exeter in the
third wrapped up the victory for the
visitors.
Ray Guay played a strong game in net
with several good saves which kept the
locals close.

weekend when they walked into Ripley
Friday night and as the last bodies were
removed froth the ice, the Lancers found
themselves with a 7 - 7 tie. The lead
changed hands several times with the
Roosters finally tying the game in the last
five minutes to salvage the tie.
