Weekend guests, with Jenny MacPher-
son and Margaret Black of Lucknow were
'Kevin Black. and Wendy D'Artois of King-
ston; Isabelle Thompson and son, Bill of
Caledon and"Liz Black of Windsor. Sunday
visitors at the same home were Mr. and
Mrs. Walter MacFarlane of Listowel.
We are sorry to hear that Margaret
MacDonald is again a patient at the Wing-
ham and District Hospital. Also in the
Wingham and District Hospital are And-
rew Ritchie, Dick McQuillan and Stanley
Cooper. Mary Porteris a patient in London
hospital.. We wish " you all a speedy
recovery.
Ed Blackwell was. admitted to the Wing -
ham and District Hchipital on Saturday
evening after lie fell- on the main street in

Lucknow and fractured his arm. He was
later transferred to London hospital for
surgery.
The Christmas concert held at the
Lucknow Public ,School on Friday evening
was well attended with a full house.
Everybody enjoyed the choir and the plays
by the kindergartenand junior classes.
Rev. Allison and Mrs. Ramsayheld a
Christmas dinner in honour of the senior
choir at their home' on. Sunday.
We are sorry to learn. that Jean Jardine
is giving up her home on Stauffer Street
and has it up for sale. She has rented an
apartment in, the Sepoy Apartments on
Walter Street. Jean fractured her hip
recently, and has troubles getting about.
We will all miss Jean on our street:
Sunday visitors with Tony and Geraldine
Schlosser was Tony's sister, Nora Parker
and her son, Bob of the Glammis area.
Due to a hydro interruption on Tuesday
morning, the children who attend Lucknow
and Kinloss Public Schools had a half a day
holiday. .
Marilyn Meaden of London spent a
couple "of days recently with her mother,
Annie Kilpatrick.

Lucknow were married ,at Lucknow United
Church on Saturday, November 10, 1984.
Rev. Warren. McDougall and Father Ed
Dentinger officiated. The bride is the
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert
McIntosh and the groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Van Dyke of R. 7,
Lucknow. Lynn Van Rooy of Ripley, friend
of the bride, was matron of honour and
bridesmaids were Lori Hackett, Kitchener,
friend of'. the bride , and Nora Verkley,
Atwood, sister ofthe groom. Danielle
Brooks, Lucknow, friend of the bride, was
flower girl. Brian ' Reaburn, Sundridge,
friend of the groom, was ring bearer.
Henry Van Roost,, Hensall, cobsin of the.
groom, was groomsman and Tony Van
Dyke, Lucknow,brother of the groom and
John McIntosh, L,acknow, brother of .the
bride ushered guests. Following a' recep,
tion at the Lucknow Community Centre,
the couple enjoyed a honeymoon at Lake
Simcoe. They are residing at R. 7,
