The driver of this car was slightly injured, when it collidedwith a dump truck, as the .truck
pulled out of the'entrance to the Lucknow District Co-op on Huron County Road 1, around 4
p.m. on Tuesday, November,20. LeaMon Sayer, Luelmow, was the driver of the car and the
truck was driven by Andre Gwyn of R.-2, Hayfield. Goderieh OPP investigated the mishap,
which resulted in a charge being laid under the Highway Traffic Act:

The Ministry of Environment is not
preparedto issue the certificate. of
approval for the Lucknow Sewage Works
project yet, because the Lticknow Village,
Connell is contemplating a procedure
which may make it appropriate not to
issue the certificate at this time, says a
ministry official.
Willard Page, district •officer of the
Ministry of Environment, told The
Sentinel Friday the council is considering
whether another act as well as the Envir-
o ment Act applies to the undertaking
and the ministry will wait for council's
decision before proceeding with the issue

site for the treatment facility and tile bed

what the estimated cost of the Lucknow

service are sponsoring courses in dairy,
beef, swine and sheep inanagement this
winter at the Lucknow District Community
Centre.•
Beginning November 28 and ,,,running'
until February 6 a sheep management
course will be offered Wednesday evenings
from 7 10:30 p.m., Ian Clarke co-ordinat-
or, A dairy management course will be
offered January 8 - March 12 on Tuesdays
from 1 - 4 .p.m., Glen McNeill co-ordinator.

will run from January 16 February 13 on
Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Larry
Dillon co-ordinator and a beef management
course will be held January 10 - February 7
on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. . 4 p.m.
The courses are sponsored through the
co-operation of the Ontario Ministry of
Agriculture and Canada Employment and
Immigration.
