On Sunday, October 21, Lucknow United
•Church celebrated. its 122nd anniversary
with morning and . evening services. The
Rev, Phil Cline, secretary of the General
Council of the United Church in Canada, ,
was the guest speaker at the morning
service. His theme was "-What Do These

stones symbolized God's presence with*be
people 'of Israel, so the church building in
our community is a symbol of the presence
of God in our midst It is also a reminder of
God's faithfulness to us, His people, and a
challenge for us to be faithful to Him.
The evening service wasa service of
music, featuring guest soloist Carroll Lee,
of Shallow Lake Uniteci,Church. She shared
many selections which, were most moving
and inspirational. The senior choir offered
• anthems at both services.
