Last season the Lanesville Lords advanc-
d to the Blyth Broornball League Cham-
ionship finals, where they lost to the 8th
' erS. After their .first three games, the

essful campaign, recording three suc-
essive wins: Lanesville is a team with plen-

On Oct. 30 the Lords recorded their third

Mrs. Jack McGuireand Dorothy Engel
were in London last Thursday and visited
in Ingersoll with Mrs. McGuire's daughter,
Nancy and son-in-law, Michael .and new
baby; kion.
It was great to see the children having so
much fun.on Hallowe'en and itwas a treat
to have so many young ones calling, as for
the past few years three or four children
were all that came. '
Mrs. .Jim Black visited on Hallowe'en
evening with Mr. and Wt. Walter Black of
Lucknow.

Goderich, Oarsmen grabbed an early 1-0

cessive goals to record a 7-1, triumph over
the Oarsmen. The 8th Liners' goals were

The Clinton Warriors needed overtime to
upset the Blyth Inn Bandits by a score of 443.
Clinton took a 2-0 lead after five minutesintci,
Cindy Maxymchuk and her two year old
daughter, Erin of Surrey, B.C. visited
Margaret and Jim Errington and other
relatives in the area recently.
Gail Cook is a patient in Alexandra

where she underwent surgery on Monday.

Rick McGee of Grimsby visited for a few
days with his sister, Bonnie and her
husband, Laird Spivak and boys last week.
Members of the Willing Workers held a
work bee recently to prepare crafts for their
upcoming bazaar and bake sale on Novem-
ber 17.
Ron and Michele Brindley, Catherine
and Heather have moved from their trailer
home on Berry Street to the house on
Southampton Street, they , recently purch- ,
ased from Colin Chisholni.
Congratulations to Jeff and Dayle Taylor
on the birth of their daughter, Sarah
Elizabeth on Sunday morning, November 4
at Wingham hospital. Dayle, as most
people know, works at the West Wawanosk
Insurance office.
