Visi.ts with mother at Vit. Mary's hospital
Edna Culbert visited for a couple. of days
in London recently, spending as much time
as possible with her 'mother, Mrs, Mathe-
son, who is a patient in Si. Mary's Hospital
and with her sister, brother and friends in
the city.
Finlay MacDonald had his.steam engine at
the Ripley Fall Fair which was held on
Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29.
George and Betty Moncrief and Bill and
Jean Farrish were on a bus trip recently.
which took them to Pineland Lodge in the
Muskoka region.. They report having a lovely
four day vacation.
Jim,, and Cecil Webster of Waterloo, sons
of Wellington and Rae Webster, were home
onthe weekend and they 'were saying that

Acorn Kitchens in Kitchener where they
both' work, is very busy. They are both
working overtime each day and also Satur-
day mornings.
Gordon and Glen Robb were at the
Ploughing Match on Tuesday and George
Moncrief was there on Thursday.
Callers on theweekend with Dorothy
Finlayson were Barbara Rogerson and her
two sons, Charles and Andrew of Toronto;
Carol Finlayson, her husband John Balch
and their little son, Alexander of Toronto,
and Ken Finlayson,'also'of Toronto. They all
intended to take• in the Ripley Fair. on
Saturday.
Mr.,and Mrs; Gordon .Robb and son, Glen
visited in Lions Head on Sunday to visit
Edwin and Janice McCutcheon and children.

was published recently, and is sure many
will find it very relevant.

rganze Wingham hospital fund raising
On Thursday evening Kinloss had a
meeting to arrange. .the fundraising
campaignfor the Wingham Hospital addi-
tion. Present from the village were Dave
Gibb, Fred Tiffin, Bill Gibson and Tom Day.
Gertrude Tiffin , was .a Saturday evening
caller on Mr. and Mrs. Victor Emerson.
On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. •Fred Tiffin
accompanied Mrs. Victor —Emerson to
Wingham Hospital where she had eye tests
with Dr. Bruce of London. •
Quite a number from here attended , the
ploughing match last week at Teviotdale.
Several from this area went on the bus
tours to the north to view the beauty of the
fall landscape , colour of trees.
Karen Beecroft of Kitchener spent the
weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.
