to Roxanne Bergman, daughter of Mr: and
Mrs. Bob Bergman, who is a patient in
London .hospital. ` Roxanne was a passenger
with her mother; Marlene, and Marlene.
Wolfe and her two boys, Nathaniel and
Sean. They were involved in a car ,accident
,
on Saturday . afternoon when they were
backing out of the Wolfe.laneway 'on the
sixth concession. Their car was struck by .a
car driven by Murray . MacKinnon who was
driving east on the sixth. The others from
'he car were released from Wingham
hospital after a check up. Murray was hot
hurt.
Alesha Moffat and Kristen O'Neil attend-
ed Brownie camp at' Camp Kee -way -den
over the weekend.
Jack and Blanche Needham had Mr. and
Mrs. Harvey MacDougall of Bayfield visiting
on Sunday.

The first meeting of the Ripley #1 Cozy
t)uilters was held at the home of Annetta
Robinson on Tuesday,' September 25.
The leaders for the club ' are Annetta
Robinson and Margaret Smith.
Lisa Robinson was elected president and
Barb Smith was elected vice president.
Secretary and press reporter •will rotate
together.
Each member made their templates for
the sample, Moon over the Mountain.
Fitness Feilas

The third meeting .of the Port Albert 4-H
club's project, Fitness Fare, opened with a
mile run on the Goderich District Collegiate
Institute. track. Everyone scored an excellent
rating on the run.
The business meeting followed at Donna
Hayden's. home where Debbie Debold and
Tracy Black demonstrated Chili Con carne.
Stephanie Durnin and Marcia Boak made
Fruit Custard and Wendy Miltenburg made
colesl )V.
Topics discussed included the level of
stamina • required_ for the 1600 metre (one
mile). run and how to prepare for it: losing
weight and low fat cooking tips.
The members also chose the club name for
this project, Port Albert Fitness Fpllas.
The girls .enjoyed sampling the •'food
prepared and the meeting was adjourned.
