Dianne Clifford and their two : grand

not too far from the Arctic Circle.
The two ;children agesfour and two have
really been enjoying our summer weather,
our large trees, the flowers, and above all
playing on the grass in their bare feet. They
also hadthe time of, their young lives play-
ing in a children's play. ground. Their grand-
father (Jack) says they get lots of rides on '
the donkeys which are m large supply -on
their farm at Lochalsh.
•Rhetta MacLennan spent a few days last
week with her daughter, son-in-law and
grandsons, Bruce 'and, Louise Millar of.
Palmerston and also, with her brother and
sister-in-law, Harold and -Peggy Jardine .h

• Visiting . now with ' Rhetta are her
daughter, . Florence MacLennan of Kit-
chener, her son, Jack and his wife, 'Annette
of Stratford. Annette has just recently
returned home from an overseas vacation.
She' will stay with her mother, -in-law for a
few .days to rest before she, returns to. her
home in Stratford and returns to work. '
Ross and Jean MacKenzie are leaving
their farm the first of the week and -will be
moving into . their new .home at . 361 Oak
,Street in Goderich. • •
Jean and Ross .*ill be greatlyinissed here

in the community, 'where they have been
wonderful friends and neighbours. Their six
boys' were raised and went to school from
the home farm. Best wishes go with Ross
and Jean, when they move. to thein new
home..
Dorothy Finlayson attended the
Elderhostel at°the University Hospital for a
few days in Hamilton, then visited for a :few
' days with her family in Toronto. , '
• Lorne andMaxine Luther have been cam-
ping at Rondu Park and Eriewoods on Lake
Erie for week, or so in.'their camper. •
Lynn Calvert of. Sarnia has been visiting
for a couple of days with heraunt and uncle,
'Ewen and Mad McLean. •
The Ripley . Horticultural Society held
their meeting Tuesdayevening at the home.

The members were given a tour of the
Nursery by Sue Montgomery, a landscape
architect who : works there. She pointed out.
all' the trees and shrubs that they had in -
stock, plus information on where they would
best be planted and the prices of the various
plants. '•
After the tour, Sue answered any quer-
tions:the members had. Liz Wilkins thanked
her for conductingthe tour andpresented
her with a gift.
The club then went " back to the home of -
Fran Elphick and discussed plans for their
Achievement Day. j
