Duron board wants to tre Ex ter teacher

CLINTON -. The Huroja. County Board of
Education will be asking education minister
Dr. Bette Stephenson for permission; to fire
antinuclear protester Joaiuie Young.

every avenue including verbal and written
warnings. Mrs. Young has been counselled
and after continualrefusals to report for

Mrs Young, who will await the minister's

McDonald, agreed, noting, it wasn't a
difficult decision for him to make as
representative of the South Huron District
High School parents.

loss accepts petitions for drain cleanout
The regular meeting' of Kinloss Council
was held on July 3 at 7.30 p.m. with Reeve
Barry Johnston. and all. council members
present. •
A petition was .accepted for a cleanout of
the Black Creek" Northwest Section for a
portion, of the outlet of Silver Lake and
George Davis was appointed as _township
engineer to inspect and report to council on
the drain..
Petitions were also accepted.for a cleanout
of the Johnston drain on lot 4 concession 8
and .for the Ross drain at lots 16 ,and 17
concession 8 and for a repair to the • Harris
drain on . lot 2 concession 8 and at the

junction of the. Johnston -Eadie and Harris.
drain at lot- 2 concession 8.
George Davis and Associatewas appoint-
ed to prepare a survey, plan and profile .for
the Harris, Johnston -Eadie- and Johnston
drains for the work petitioned.
The weed inspector, Lorne Robinson is
authorized to .'have noxious weeds cut or
controlled on lots under ten acres.
A motion was passed that the agreement
between the Township, of Kinloss and the
County of Bruce whereby certain a ''thorities,
responsibilities, ' duties and functions of ' a.
planning nature under the Plahning Act 1983
be signed and forwarded to the County.
