Alfred Maurice Ivers of Dungannon, died
Wingham Hospital, on':May 8, 1984, after
lengthy illness. He was 81 years old.

A funeral service was held at Stiles

Pallbearers were Tom Culbert, Ross Eedy, 4'

Townsend of Walkerton Anglican Church.
Six pallbearers were grandchildren of the
deceased and flower bearers werehis great
grandchildren.
Final resting place, Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow'. - . ' •
OBITUARIES
1n his early life Mr. tfaldenby maintained
much agr>lcultural support in, the area
including operating a grist mill, custom
threshing and farm transportation. He was a
devoted secretary to S. S. # 2, Kinloss school
board for a..number of years and had an op-
portunity to.see much of the province, as he
' was a supervisor for Standard Paving- of
Hull; Quebec for 30 years. After retirement,
. he returned -to his agricultural pursuits as he
worked with a local tile draining company.
Eight years ago, as the result of a stroke,
he required nursing home care, and became
a resident of ,Brucelea Haven lir Walkerton.
Left to m9urn, his passing are his son,
Harold and. wife, Madeleine, daughter,
Ethel' and husband, Clare Sparling, five
grandchildren, Sheila - Smith, Barry and
Marie, George and Cathy Haldenby and
• Allan. ,and : Sylvia• and Douglas Sparling. Six
great grandchildren, Debbie Smith,Allyson,
Jason, Robbie, Corrynn and Dean Haldenby
and two brothers, William and Arthur of
George Wilson Haldenby
84 in his 87th year. The late Mr. Haldenby
d been patient at the hospital about three
eks prior to his passing.
