Jamie Langford returned 44 Woodstock
after spending atfew days with his grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kcholsen.

relatives of the late :George W. HaldenhY, •
formerly of Kinlough; who passed away
Thursday evening in the, Walkerton Hospit-
al. George suffered a stroke almost eight
years ago and, was a resident at Brucelea
Haven, Walkerton for several years after a
period of hospitalization. The funeral was

Seniors card party
The grade T and 8 students. of Joanne
McDoriaghts class at St. Joseph's Commun-
ity School held their fourth annual ,Card party
for the Kingsbridge ' area senior • citizens
during Education Week in May. There were .
several tables in play and the students tried
their hand at learning to play cards from the
experienced card players in the seniors'
group. •
Bernardine Kinney of Kingsbridge seniors
expressed appreciation on behalf of the New
Horizons group, thanking the students, their
teacher, Mrs. McDonagh and the school
principal, Mr. Sharpe;- for organizing the
card party again -this year.

Arthur Haldenby were Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Whiteside, Marjorie Bennett, Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Bennett, all of Toronto.
They attended the funeral of their uncle, the
late George Haldenby on Sunday.
and Mrs. Harold flaldenby, Sheila
and Debbie Smith and Geordie Haldenby of
Sarnia wire here on theweekend. We were
all pleased to know that Geordie and Cathy
have a new baby boy, a little brother for
Colynn.
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Spading of Witlkerton
and Mr. and Mrs. .Allan Sparling and
Douglas Sparling called on relatives and

Youth group'
conduct services
-The Dungannon -Nile Youth, Group took
charge of the services at Dungannon and
Nile on Sunday in the absence of the
minister Rev. Roberts who is attending
Conference.
Those who took part were Jim Wright,
Craig McNeil, Ken Logtenberg, Nancy Car-
michael, Deb Gregory, John Curran, Susan
Curran, Martha Curran, Donna Gregory and
Heather Curran.
Diane Park's Sunday School class present-
ed a play with an Easter theme. Those
participating were Angela and Arletta
Glenn, Joey Curran, Sherry Hodges, Laurie
Hayden, Kevin Black.
Sherry Smith played the piano to
accompany the Sunday School classes who
sang a number during the play.. The young
people did really well and were a credit to
their leaders, Mrs ta Ralph Curran. and Mrs.
Don Curran and to Mrs. Park. The choir
sang the anthem, When the Saints Go
Marching In.
