Field Day was held on .May 24. All of the
istudents took part except the kindergarten
and some were very suceeSsful. Senior girls
champion was Donna Raynard and runnerup
was Stephanie Durnin. Intermediate girls,
champion was Laurie Hayden and runnerup;
Kim Tyler. Junior girls champion was Julie
Pentland and runnerup was Melissa Logten-
berg.: Midget girls champion was Nicole
Middelcamp •and runnerup was Tanya
Hodges. Primary girls champion., was Dana
Park and there was a tie between Angie Kerr
. and Tricia Brown far. runnerup.-

The senior boys champion was Brian
Grundleur and runnerup was Mike Pent-
land. Intermediate boys champions• were
Philip Luedemann and Joey Curran tied and
runnerup was Jeffrey Ireland. Junior boys
• championship went to Adrian Rau and
runnerup was Tim Moss. (Midget boys
• champion was Jeff Storey and runnerups
were Gregory Bauer and Billy Curran, tied.

Primary boys champion was Brock Raynard
and,runrierup was Keith Todd.
-Marie Webster brought a "baby goat to
school on Friday to visit S.-L.N. and primary
glasses who were all very interested.
Gerry McCann brought her sheepdog,
Solomon, to visit with MN. Carroll's class.
Solomon•looks like Mr. Mugs in the primary
readers.
Mr. Liddle's class' went camping at Camp
Menesetung Tuesday and stayed overnight
till, Wednesday. Mrs. Worsell accompanied
the class also. Although it rained that night,
• they reported a successful and interesting
outing.
Mrs. Graham's class • is doing paper
sculptures. They are also very proud -to be
winning first place with. collecting Zehrs
tapes. r
Mrs. lebbutt's class is doing a unit on
dinosaurs.
Mr. klazlitt's class are Acting Geography
reports on Canadato do. with industry and
agriculture. , ,

This community was saddened to learn
Wednesday that Robena Stewart of Tees -
water, wife of the late Mr. Robert Stewart,
had passed away at Wingham Hospital. Mr.

Eileen and Donald fanned for many years at
Langside, across from Mrs. Roely de Boer;
They were well known in this community and
the community extends' deepest sympathy to

Teeswater and Eileen (Mrs. Dave. Moffat)

• Those from here who accompanied :the
Lucknow School Concert Band on its trip
were Kim Laidlaw, Karen Pickard and Tony
Falconer. They, pla.yed at Listowel, Atwood,
Brantford, Sitncoe Woodstock and Port
Dover at the Band Stand. They spent the
three night i at Simcoe. All hada good time.
