"In discouragement, disagreement and

"After having given the -matter consider-
able thought, these actions seem appropri:

have with the direction: ,the OFA is ,heading..
It seems the.. organization - has come to
represent the.opinions of -the vocal .minority
at the expense of the vast majority of the
membership," said Christie in reading his
letter of resignation. to . about .2,5i directors.
"The recent • action of demanding . the
resignation of the Ontario Minister. of

areas of interest of commodity groups), and
feedback ' and comtnents i I have received
from many people in .our county confirms
this concern."
"Another. major point that further sets my
mind .is the six, steps of the lobby strategy
paper. At a meeting of the county presidents
last summer' only seven out of the 46
presidents could support step five or six..
This prompted Ralph Barrie,to mention at
the '83 ctanvention that the organizations
role :was clearly one of non -confrontation.
However, it is with, regret. that 1 note the
organization , is 'still pursuing the plan
(strategy paper), with step five being a call

Researches Campbellfamily tree
To Whom It May Concern,
Please forgive the inconvenience, but I -
have run into a dead end with my search. I
have . been researching my family tree
(surname Campbell), who moved into they
Puslinch area in 1834. Two of the sons, Peter
and Charles moved . to Lucknow in the later
half of the 1800s.
When on my visit to Lucknow 1 found the
Greenhill Cemetery but since then I under-
stated that there is another one. I would
appreciate any help you may be able to give,
not only for my own use, but as present there
is a group of four of us trying to put together
a history on the early settlers • of Badenock,
Puslinch.
TO THE EDITOR
If you know of anyone who might be a
descendant of this family, please feel free to
pass my name and address to them, .Peter
Campbell, Christine Campbell, Charles
Campbell - unknown.
