Attend baptism
A family barbecue was held at the home of
Ron and Donna Crich, Lucknow on Sunday
following the baptismal service at Lucknow
United Church of their niece, Angela Elliott,
daughter of Jamie and Dianne Elliott,
Lucknow. Attending were her grandparents,
Willis and Marie Bromley of Londesboro;,
Merle Elliott of LucknOw; and aunts and
uncles, Ray and Noreen Elliott and Graeme
Elliott of Mississauga; Bev and Kathy
Bromley and family of Blyth; Doug and
Darlene Vincent and family of. Londesboro;
Steve and Jane Bromley of R. 1, Belgrave;
Rod and Robbie Crich and Rev. Warren, and
Lynn McDougall and family.
Dedicate window
On Sunday, May 6, the Sacrament of
Infant Baptism was celebrated at Lucknow
United Church, at which time Angela
Christine Elliott, daughter of Jamie and
Dianne Elliott; was received into the
fellowship of the Christian Church, Dianne
Elliott was received into membership by
transfer of certificate from Londesborough
United Church.
At•the sameSetVice, a Memorial Stained
Glass Window was dedicated, The window,
located over the front doors in the Narthex,
depicts the ascending dove. The Alpha and
Omega appear' ha thelawer corners of the
window, symboling God as the beginning
and the end of all things. Jesus' words from
John 11:2S appear to the sides: "I am the
resurrection and the life". The window is
a gift from Getaige Anderson, Mary Hunter,
and Ruth Swanin memory of their parents,
