He is survived by his wife, Betty, the
former. Elizabeth MacKenzie, two daught-
ers, Eliziibeth 'Ain Urahani of Belleville,.. -,_

James Alfred Burt of R. 3, Holyrood died
at Wingham ,and District Hospital on
February . 15, 1984 in hiss 68th year.
A farmer for 40 years in Kinloss Town-
ship, he was a member' of South. Kinloss
Presbyterian Church and the Royal Canad-
ian Legion .Branch' 309, Lucknow.
Born at Holyrood on Fenruery 2, 1917,.he
was a son of the .late Charles A. Burt and
Annie Laura Howe of Kincardine.
He is survived by his wife, the former Eva
Gawks whom he married on August 21,
1943. .
He is survived by three daughters, Eileen,
Mrs. Norm Sceli, London;. Donna, Mrs. Ken
Holcombe, St. Thomas and Nancy, Mrs.
Bevan Lewis of Kincardine; a son, Robert of
Kincardine and five grandchildren'. He is
also survived by three sisters, Helen, Mrs.
Cecil MacMillan, Mount Forest; Ann, Mrs.
Bern Norris of Toronto and Norma, Mrs. Lou
Carrignan, Cobourg and three brothers, Ted
of Kincardine, Bill ofliolyrood. and Robert of
Toronto.
He was predeceased by a sister, Edith,
Mrs. Allison Collins of Kincardine.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. Allison
Ramsay of South Kinloss Presbyterian
Church, Lucknow on February 18, 1984 at 2
p.m.
Flower bearers were Mrs: Bob Rennie,
Kathy Starr, Mrs. Tom Haskett, Mrs. Keith
Priest and Mrs. Ron Armstrong,.
Pallbearers were Gordon Martin, Allister
MacKay, David' Eadie, Willard Downey,
Brian Doelman and Leo Murray.
Burial to follow in South Ki;nlass Cemet-
ery.

The Dungannon 1 4-H club held .their
second meeting at Sharon Pengally's home.
The roll call this week was to suggest
ther places that quilting designs might be
ound. Two members brought quilts and told
heir age. Members : showed our home
cfivityi. They discussed string quilting and
ere shown' how to do it.

He was a' member of Langside Presby-
terian Church and attended..Chalmers Pres-
byterian Church after retiring to White-
church,
He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife,
Ellen, three sons, Eric of London, Robert of
Hamilton and Ted . of Georgetown and a
daughter, 'Edith Rrown of London.
The funeral was conducted from the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home in
Lucknow by Rev. ,Paul' Mills. The Masonic
Lodge held a memorial service at the funeral

Martha (Robertson) Hinton
Mrs. Goldwin Huston . of Ripley, the
former Martha Milvina Robertson, passed
away on Thursday, February 9, ' 1984, at
Wingham and District Hospital, following a
lengthy :illness. She was ' in • her 80th year.
Born December 2, 1904, she was the
daughter Of the late James Robertson and
Elizabeth (Campbell). Robertson of the 12th
concession of Huron Township and resided
there until her marriage in 1931, to Goldwin
Huston of Pine River, Hugon Township.
Following his death in 1968, she moved to
Ripley.
She is survived by two sisters, Margarete
Robertson, Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home
and Dorothy, Mrs. Russell Collins, both of
Lucknow and two brothers, Kenneth of
Kincardine Township and Donald of Huron
Township. , Two sisters-in-law also survive,
Pearl MacDonald, Ripley and Violet Camer-
on, Pine River...
She was, predeceased by her husband,
Goldwin in 1968,. a sister, Roselle in .1910
and a brother, Calvin, in 1976.
Funeral service was conducted at the
MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home,
Ripley, en Saturday, February 11, 1984.
Officiating clergyman was Rev. Hugh
Nugentof Knox Presbyterian Church,
Ripley, of which Martha was a member.
Pallbearers were six nephews, Roy and
Arthur Collins, Gayle Haldenby and Gordon,
Delmer and . Murray Cameron.
Spring interment will be in Ripley
Cemetery.
