Thanks to information from Harold Court-
ney of Pine "River and Ripley and from
Donald MacKay of the Tenth Concession
east in Huron Township we have the follow-
ing report.
Donald MacKay was the chairman of the
annual meeting of the BruceCounty Wheat ,
-Producers. It was held in the Ripley Legion
Hall on Tuesday, afternoon last week(f Feb.
7) with a good attendance.
Most of the growers of fall wheat atten-
ding were from Ripley, Holyrood, Paisley,
and Walkerton.
The main speaker was Olen Miller of
Grand Bind who is the pr►ovincial.represen-
tative for the three counties - Grey, Bruce,
and Huron. Jack Campbell of Aimberley is
the voting delegate for Bruce-Coiinty.
.Fall wheat is. a -good cereal grain for
breakfast. cereals, for pastry flour, and for
us..sheaf builders as well as stock feed.

passed away last Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1984 in
the Maitland Manor Nursing Home in . Goderich in 88th year.
